Abel does an amazing job with my haircut. I like it a little bit long but still don’t want anything falling down on my forehead. Somehow he’s managing to accomplish just that not just right after my haircut but for the entire four weeks until my next haircut.He does an amazing job with the straight razor shave as well. The products he chooses for the preshave and the Massage of my face to prepare it are the most enjoyable moments one could imagine. I scheduled an appointment for myself and my son. We were able to sit next to each other for it. My stylist was Jenny and she did an amazing job on my long overdue haircut. She was very personable. Both my son and I were very happy with our haircuts. We both walked out of there looking and feeling great. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Angie does such an amazing job on my undercut. She comes up with stylist designs which always comes with great compliments for me! Angie is always on time and is extremely professional. I’ve referred my husband and teenage son to her as well. She is well worth the 30 minutes drive from N.County!

I have gone here for about a year now. Till today I have been happy with the service. This is a very expensive mens haircut place. Today I got the “barber shop” cut. 14 minutes. On my way out I asked to please not have this lady cut my hair again. Unfortunately I do not have her name. I have more hair on me than she cut. Did put in or ask to put anything in my hair to hold it. I would still go back to this place but a second experience like this and I would be done

Friendly TALKATIVE attendant. Unfortunately she focused more on talking than cutting my hair properly. I have thick straight hair, which I pointed out when making the appointment. She said she was done but never thin the tips so the hair would blend. Looked chopped. Also had me leave with damp hair.

I brought my 16 yo son here for a haircut after refusing going to just anyone. Vivian cut his hair with style and for the first time in 16 years i am impressed and in love with his hairstyle!! This will be the place to go to everytime!

Refinement (touch-up) was a great; quick, yet expertly done with attention to detail. Comfortable salon & Mona always shares a friendly & upbeat vibe. I got the shaving on the back & sides of the neck, which always refreshing! Make sure to ask for the heated, warm-water-soaked towel before you are done for a refreshing finish & pleasant aroma.

I use to cut my hair here for the last year but will never go back ever again. Please stay away from the hairstylist by the name Vivian Perez. Not only she does not know how to cut hair, she has 0 communication skills and is very rude-mean person.

In general, the tone and attitude of everyone at the salon was great. I was afraid that there would be an awkwardness or over-the-top fake friendliness since I had come in because of a complaint, but that was not the case. The people seemed truly interested in creating a good experience while not going overboard. I felt welcome and treated well.

I just recently started going to Refine to get hair colored and cut. I was a little hesitant because of the prices, but after Ricky colored and Connie cut, I will never go anywhere else. I went from being a brunette to an ombre blonde with the expert guidance provided by Ricky. They are both excellent at what they do and my hair shows it. So worth it!! Thank you Ricky and Connie!!!

Refine Men's Salon is a level above my last hair place in Irvine. I just moved to Aliso Viejo and I am excited that there's such a nice men's hair place nearby in Laguna Niguel. I already bought the level 1 package, which is 6 haircuts/6 touch-ups for a price break - It works out to approximately $5 off per cut.A couple of observations for those considering:The place serves beer/wine/soda if you want to grab a drink prior to/during your cut.Each stylist has their own booth that is standalone. They're essentially cubicles with only two walls, so you are open to the larger room but it feels like a personal experience for the most part.

Perfect spot. Create an app or use mindbody for booking as the website is dated and didn’t have times right. Replace the hair capes with ones that have clear plastic windows so I can use my phone.

My 2nd visit with Erica went well. I recently retired and i am wearing my hair longer now to compensate for normal age related hair thinning. A challenge to say the least. Erica had great recommendations. I am looking forward to getting to the ideal length and style.

I really like going here. Relaxed environment. Drinks at the door. (Coffee, soda, beer) The woman at the front counter is really nice and attentive both on the way in and out. I go there to see Vivian, and I like how she does my hair. I have never been one to go to the same place again and again but this place has earned it for me. It's a tad more expensive then barber shops or a generic haircutting place, but the increased cost is worth it. Will be going here till i run out of hair. Hopefully not anytime soon.

I am a very picky person when it comes to my hair. I used to go to Supercuts and after several bad haircuts and even the manager cutting my hair wrong I knew I needed a change. My buddy at work recommended this salon. They do a damn good job here!! The place is clean, the receptionist is alway warm and welcoming. Joanna is my stylist here and she is amazing!! I had a commercial that I got a last minute call to film for, Joanna got me right in and made me look like a superstar. She really cares about what she does and is always very personable and upbeat. You are awesome Jo!! I couldn’t ask for a better place to get my hair done. Beard trim and haircut is between $40-65 but it is worth every dollar since the quality is so high. I highly recommend this place!!

I’ve been taking my son to Madeline for about 2 years. She manages his cowlicks remarkably well. She does a great job of making him feel comfortable and welcomed so he actually enjoys going. I like having a cappuccino, they provide, while I wait. I even feel comfortable running a quick errand to CVS or Target occasionally. Madeline is awesome and it’s always an overall great experience.
